I truly feel … that we’re living in the unique … interim period between two ages.
The Age of Pisces is dying and the new age of Aquarius is being born… again.

If you take the sum total of all the knowledge of all the people who’ve dedicated their lives to studying the history of the people of African decent (… Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois, Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan, Dr. John Hope Franklin, Dorothy Porter Wesley, Cheikh Anta Diop, Carter G. Woodson, Master Teacher Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Ivan Gladstone Van Sertima, Chancellor Williams …and on and on and on…) you STILL wouldn’t have the knowledge to scratch the surface of African History from which the world’s mythology and consciousness was formed. Doubt that? The realize this:
- The history of African people isn’t just a history of people who lived within the continent of Africa… no, because at one time there was a sense that the whole world was Africa… due to the earliest fossils of anatomically modern humans are from about 300,000 years ago.
- They don’t leave Africa until 100,000 years ago.
- They don’t start changing into the sub-varieties of of the original human species until 40,000 years ago.
- So that means for 246,000 years, 85% to 90% of Human History is the history of black people.
I’m slipping away from Dionysus man because I wanted to provide some background for who Aquarius is… and why… “she’s coming back.” Remember… the Greek and Roman gods are AFRICAN gods and goddesses. There were NO people known as, “Jews, Romans, nor Greeks until after the 13th ancient Egyptian Dynasty (Kush / Kement). So to understand why Dionysus is an archetype that will be increasingly important in the near coming age of the “Dancing Feminine Wisdom” of the Age of Aquarius … it’s best to understand the context this consciousness is rooted in.
The Age of Pisces was a MASCULINE age. The Industrial Age required brute strength to bring the iron from the earth and shape it into locomotives that traveled across continents. The Alpha Male chopped the trees down … and beat the workers wills to doing his bidding. The Alpha Male who oppressed women, enslaved and killed millions, is now in trouble. His one-sided thinking is not only killing the very earth we all live on, he Left Brain thinking isn’t up to integrating the wisdom to save himself from destruction.
“Our fate is written in the stars”
We humans are carbon based beings… made from stars that exploded millions of years ago. If the tides of the mighty oceans feel the pull of the stars… surely its hubris to suggest that we plant based beings… interconnected to the whole… aren’t subtly influenced also.
James Joyce. once wrote that, “The musicians, poets, artist, and writers are the consciousness of the race.” The rock star… the poet… the often youthful, “beautiful” but effeminate male sensitive enough to hear the Zeitgeist of the time … and translate them in ways that moves and inspires others may well be one of the most important —interim— spirits of this chaotic interim period. He will not remain as leader because The Great Mother Aquarius is not about wine and Bacchus, ritual ecstasy and religious orgies.
While sex is the force that animates the universe… eventually it must be ordered towards the Divine and not corrupted in today’s versions of pornography, prostitution, and deviant empty … sadomasochistic … voyeuristic sexual pleasures that are lower consciousness. This is not to say Tantric sexuality is “wrong” or that it too is a path to Awakening. It simply denotes an outer force that tugs at the inner balance of each of our minds… for the Ancestors… “The Gods” … are within each of us.
The Feminization of Civilization?
Without spiritual wisdom… the pull of the coming age is no doubt having an effect that is visible everywhere. But it seems that the outward pull for many males to adapt more “Dionysian” characteristics … (more androgynous styles, sagging)… is the result of the masculine not knowing how to channel his energy towards spiritual evolution towards the Wisdom that the Feminine is bringing.

As Carl Jung put it… if a man can successfully integrate his Anima (.. his inner feminine), he emerges MORE masculine. And the courage and strength it takes to be truly honest is indeed powerful, mature… and manly.
