The fact that members of Right Wing racist Hate Groups join the military to learn how to fight their Necromantic “Race War” is nothing new. And even Oscar Award Winning, “The Godfather” illustrated that the military is popular with young, future organized crime and current gang members… so it’s no surprise that racism flows through all levels of the U.S. Military ranks. (And yes, despite all the efforts that have been made to fight Sexism and sexual abuse in the military, it’s too is still alive and costing the careers–and lives of people who joined to serve this nation.)

And how could it not occur? As Eisenhower tried to warn us 80 years ago about the threat to democracy when he said, “Beware of the Military-Industrial Complex,” the fact is that it has colluded with Corporate Oligarchs in shaping the propaganda that Americans are fed and eventually bring the bigotry, racism, Homophobia, and sexism with them when they rise their right hand and take the oath.

“Evil is an Archetype and a real force in the universe… and it is extremely contagious. No one who comes in contact with it is unchanged.” ~ Robert Moore

It’s 2020 and the Clock in New York’s Time Square counting down what scientist believe is the “point of no return” to avoid devastating Climate Change is ticking–warning that human extinction is disastrously close, and still White America drags it’s feet on the issues that are killing us. It’s like watching the Necromantic Death Wish of a culture that has always had a suspicious, covert affinity to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. I’m certainly not advocating any sort of aversion against Americans of German descent, but how many of us realize that they are the largest ethnic group despite in The United States… despite the recent practice of turning Hispanics, North Africans, South Asians and anyone else they can find into being classified as, “White” just so they can prop up the numbers?

The US brought back thousands of Nazis after WWII and paid them for their knowledge. Those Nazis helped shape future policies and attitudes in our nation. There are no statues to Nazis in Germany, but the top brass of the U.S. Military are still reluctant to change the U.S. military bases named after Confederate traitors…. in 2020.

Yes, it’s insanely childish and symptomatic of the spiritual illness that infected this nation at its beginning when the rich men who came here primarily from England, decided that “all men are created equal”… except those who had no money and blacks… and the Native Americans they were betraying and committing genocide against so they could steal their land. Crazy making from the start.

“Mental health is synonymous with Spiritual Health.” ~ Dr. M. Scott Peck

(“The road less traveled, 1978)

Americans have great difficulty owning their own Shadows. Yes, there’s a part of human consciousness that remains “Tribal” and loves duality and denial, but no one can reach spiritual maturity nor maintain psychological well balance (especially past middle age) without taking ownership for the darkness inside them–be it the hurtful, cruel, or criminal things they’ve done to others by word, act, or thought. That’s just the way the human psyche is built. Either we grow up, or we rot internally. And when active and former members of the U.S. Military are dreaming of pro-Fascist Civil War… or worse, a “Race War,” it’s clear that Dr. Gabor Mate was right when he said, “Mental Illness is growing exponentially on both sides of the Atlantic.” Who are they going to defeat when the threat of Human Existence is so clear–and so dire?

Yes–if a person hates another simply because of the hue of their skin color, then Racism is clearly a mental illness. In Olympia, Washington, I learned how fashionable it is to teach racism to young children in their Early Childhood Stage of Development. That means their potential for Spiritual Development has a ceiling on it–making them crippled psychologically from the start. Like Narcissism, Evil can’t see that it’s evil and there is no law that Sociopaths can conceive of obeying. The only laws are the ones they make up–and American business leaders love to say that the best CEOs are sociopaths.

Therefore the seeds of destruction are within us. My father was in the last of the Buffalo Soldiers… and the way the Army treated them–and Blacks in other branches–was abysmal. Only tortured people torture others. The U.S. Military tried to block African Americans soldiers, sailors, and Marines, from full participation and therefore “proving themselves” as Men and human beings worthy of moral treatment during WWI but in spite of their efforts, Black service men and women came home with honors of distinction and bravery. During the entrenched Jim Crow years between the two “Great Wars,” Whites conspired to do more to block Blacks from proving themselves and moving up the ranks. There are even documented cases of terror and murder by Whites against their Black counterparts.

A house divided cannot stand–and above all else, the rich Corporate oligarchs of this Gilded Age do NOT want Americans uniting across racial lines. You cannot understand how malignant race and class is in America without understanding that even before the first African was sold into bondage on what’s now U.S. soil, the English LOATHED its poor whites and shipped them over here to “The Colonies” as both Indentured Servants and to get rid of what they called, “The Crackers.

The fight against Poor Whites and Rich Whites continues today and has played a major role in politics, culture, and the military. “In ‘White Trash,’ Nancy Isenberg delves into the history of class in America, starting with British colonization.” George Washington hated his largely poor white Militia and poor white politicians from Davy Crockett to Bill Clinton have felt the ire of of hatred by upper Middle Class and wealthy Whites. Crazy from the start.

A military that turns a blind eye to gang members and other race-based criminals in their ranks eats itself out from the insides. Currently the U.S. Navy’s has lost all faith in its leadership. The U.S. Army changes it’s uniforms so frequently that it’s become something of a joke because the Army’s top brass fails to address the systemic racism and leadership failures that have racked Fort Hood recently.

Any nation that allows itself to become a “Military Culture” is an adolescent culture. “The Hero” is not the epitome of Manhood… it is the highest stage of Boyhood. This archetypal energy is dangerous and makes poor leaders. If there’s someone in your squad that wants to be a hero–get away from him because his risky “look-at-me” tactics will get you killed.

The Military Industrial Complex has climbed in bed with the very corrupt U.S. Corporate and Political systems. Over the past 35 years they’ve crafted propaganda and narratives we see everywhere–from video games to football games–and those narrative further divide the sons and daughters who one day wear this nation’s colors on their sleeves. Basic Training can’t change the “reality” that was formed in these member’s heads from Early Childhood Development. The narrow minded egos of greedy generals and ambitious, often bigoted officers and NCO’s are time bombs of incompetence.

For this nation to avoid major calamity… and for humans to avoid becoming extinct, we must grow up, craft larger narratives, and embrace much larger concepts of who we are as a nation. Corruption alone is killing us, therefore we desperately need judicial virtue, economic equity, and an honest rule of law. To avoid bankrupting the VA, we need to realize that we can’t keep walking to the right with one foot and to the left with the other and expect to get very far down the road.

War Is a Racket is a speech and a 1935 short book, by Smedley D. Butler, a retired United States Marine Corps Major General and two-time Medal of Honor recipient. It should be required reading for everyone living in a Capitalist system.

“WAR is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.”

“I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”  — General Smedley D. Butler,

Major General Smedley Darlington Butler, nicknamed “Old Gimlet Eye”, was a senior United States Marine Corps officer who fought in both the Mexican Revolution and World War I. Butler was, at the time of his death, the most decorated Marine in U.S. history. During his 34-year career as a Marine, he participated in military actions in the Philippines, China, in Central America and the Caribbean during the Banana Wars, and France in World War I. Butler later became an outspoken critic of American wars and their consequences. Butler also exposed an alleged plan to overthrow the United States government.
