Fred Guidry is a travel writer without destination. Inspired by the lunacy of the 2012 elections, Fred has decided to pack up and search for any remaining signs of intelligent life still left on the planet.     1. Joanie! Long time no hear from. I moved down here on 10 acres in North Carolina … about 20 miles behind the Cotton Curtain … and now I’m itching to travel. ((chuckle)) At this point I’m realizing that “roaming” is my primary process. I spent so many years searching for a job just so I could eat that next meal that remaining in one place too long depresses me. (BUT, it’s good to have a home base.)

      Hope the eye operation turns out well. I should email you about suggestions on the URL… had a bunch of plans, but I somehow didn’t find the interest to pursue all of them. God bless, and be well Joanie.

  6. June 18, 2015….Fred, where are you? They say “a rolling stone gathers no moss,” but you seem to gather no home. Anywho, it’s me and if I had your email address we could actually have digital conversations. Or, we could Skype. Or, if you are back in Cali, F2F. Or, if you are into Harry Potter, send me an owl! Meanwhile, my books are progressing and my publisher and editor haven’t mentioned any litigation yet so, all is well! Took the advance checks and deposited them so I am back to the nouns, verbs, adverbs, and the eight (8) other parts of speech.

    1. Thanks for the spam. ((chuckle)) Much–not all– of Black America is in such dire conditions that even though I have no idea what this book is about, just some movement … any movement, might help save some lives and undo a bit of the prevailing brainwashing. I’ve learned that it only takes 10 to 15 years to change or demoralize a culture. “Black America” today… is very different than it was in the 60s. I look at 1975 as the year Co-Intel Pro began its mass cultural operation by changing the music. Live bands were replaced by Disco. Black radio stations began being closed. The oral tradition was broken. Messages of love and hard work were replaced by “… Kill a N-Word,” and constantly calling women, “B-words” and whores. We see the fruit of that now, eh?

      70% of us aren’t even getting married. Of the group who are, 90% ends in divorce and a large segment of black women and black men hate each other’s guts. “Scandal” and “Empire” on television delivers death blows. South Carolina is joined with North Carolina is the epicenter of new HIV+ infections. Most are Heterosexual and the lion share is black. Common Core is worse than No Child Left Behind … but as bad as all of this is… blacks aren’t the only ones being targeted by the dysfunctional Multi-National Oligarchy.

      The SAME way blacks were stabbed in the back and demoralized… is the same way whites are now. Banking and political corruption has crushed many industries and what NAFTA did to us (and others), TPP is doing to the rest of America. Instead of pouring Crack into their neighborhoods, now it’s cheap Heroin and Meth. Hiv rates are skyrocketing throughout what was once called, “The Backbone of America.” Heroin addiction and opiate addiction is epidemic in some parts of the rural Midwest … even the Governor of bucolic Vermont has declared a state of emergency over its heroin epidemic.

      It’s too late to point fingers though. With addiction, alcoholism, gang (suicidal) killings, AIDS, and Mental Illness hitting us so hard, people need to find ways to save their health, their sanity, and BUILD relationships rather than further isolate themselves.

Hi, you are welcome for the “spam” (lol)…I figured if you were meant to collaborate, you would respond.  But, you are judging a book by its cover.  You have no clue as to what my book is all about and I only suggested that you read the REVIEW and not buy anything. Mr. Guidry, You observations about Black-white narcissism/codependency is what prompted me to reach out to you because I made the same conclusions in my book.  However, I also threw in the Dark Tetrad for whites and Learned Helplessness for Blacks.  No, I’m not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, but when you consider the racist/pseudoscientific origins and track-record of those two disciplines, it becomes apparent that there are no real “experts” in those fields.  Thought it was interesting that we were speaking about the same things because I never hear this sort of talk by the “Black leaders” who exploit us. No sure what comment you “piggybacked” but nothing showed up on my WordPress page. Also, I emailed you a duplicate message because it seemed like I had been blocked when I attempted to respond to your dismissal.       3. Tony, I didn’t block you. Your comments are on the page. I’m more into Jungian Depth Psychology and ancient Kement Spirituality and the Greek Archetypes (… of the mind…) that came out of it. Do you belong to a frat? You sound familiar. I don’t agree … nor totally disagree with your message. We are not a monolythic people. If your book can help some move towards healing and form better relationships, then kool. I think you might be interested in some of the amazing aspects of the “collective unconscious” …. Dreaming Field… that we ALL are swimming in.
