Women are the Gatekeeper of culture. Traditional culture. Fundamentalist Culture. Even when it’s Alternative, Progressive, or Queer culture, women stand in the gate. Thanks to social engineering, the culture is becoming increasingly narrow minded… and ill.

There are a lot of ideas about sexuality and gender that need expanding in the so-called, “Black Community.” There’s a ton of things about the way black people raise children that DESPERATELY needs to change.

Big Momma bullshit. Why complain about Gays and Transsexuals when “Big Momma” is what creates them? That’s right… the idea of “I Don’t Need No Man” is killing us. The “Overpowering Mother” raising a son without a father to complete the Oedipal Stage of Development is almost a guarantee for him to grow up into either a gay man, a bisexual man, a Transsexual… or a man who is forever at war with the Feminine. (You know… the kind of guy who beats women, treats them badly, and even kills them.)

I’ve never understood how so many Black women loved Luther Vandross who was obviously as gay as a Drag Queen but turned right around and castrated black men for not being beat down thugs is beyond me. ( And PRINCE??) The list is long of casualties who gave their fellow black people their best… only to be betrayed and humiliated by them. Whitney Houston who’s mother was so full of Fundamentalist bullshit ego that she refused to love her if she came out truthfully as bisexual. Donny Hathaway who committed suicide rather than disappoint you. Oh my gawd … what Egotistical fools we now are.

“Black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet” Audre Lorde gave devoted her life to the struggles of uplifting women, fighting racism, and celebrating Black women… yet she said that whenever sexuality came up, Black women would cross over to the other side and abandon her. Christian Fundamentalism is Post-Civil War theology. Literal reading chains and represses your mind. Repression leads to mental illness, complexes, Personality Disorders, and the toxic culture we now live in.

Tyler Perry? Madea? Really? Your hero is a Drag Queen… but you can’t love your own queer children, friends, and neighbors?? That only means you’re so full of internalized shame and brainwashed ignorance that you’re totally afraid of being yourselves. The hypocrisy of black people and Big Momma-ism made this closet queen a billionaire. All he had to do is never fully admit who he truly is. No wonder life is crazy as a box of monkeys and you’re getting played like a black jack deck in Reno.

The list of black LGBTQ entertainers you’ve loved and who uplifted your lives is long. Google them. People getting upset when they learn that one of their favorite actors is bisexual or gay is sad. The best actors ARE bisexual. People. Human beings. When you can’t love what is–it’s you that has the problem. Humans don’t see others… we project ourselves onto others. Whatever we hate in them is what we hate in ourselves.

Psychologically the problem that Black Women and Big Momma-ist have is an enlarged Animus. (This is also why so many women get divorced at middle age.) Over rigid “Should’s” that lead to narrow minded, shallow repressed belief systems. People end up living truncated, malnourished, emotionally unbalanced lives instead of revitalized experiences of joy and growth. Basically–they never Individuate.

When that happens… of course they need more pills and booze. More food, drugs, and mindless television watching. And their children? Look what happened to Whitney Houston.

And the worst of it? That Bible the Christians take so much stock in? The Old Testament is part of the Jewish Torah. The New Testament is their book… and the ONLY thing that Jesus ever said about Homosexuals or Transgenders is in Matthew 19:12 …
